The investment objective of the Fund is to generate a high annual yield with the potential for capital appreciation over the medium to long term. The Fund will seek to achieve its investment objective primarily by investing in non-investment grade performing, stressed and distressed European securities in the primary and secondary market.
John Sullivan has in excess of 20 years’ investment and finance experience including private equity, mezzanine, high yield, distressed and leveraged loan investment. Prior to founding Wiltshire, he was one of the founding partners of Cognis Capital Partners LLP (“Cognis”), which was spun out from Royal Bank of Scotland in 2003 and invested in mispriced, stressed and distressed European corporate debt. John was a member of the investment committee, originating, executing and managing portfolio investments as well as fund raising and fund establishment. While at Cognis, John generated average exited gross returns in excess of 20% per annum. He was also very influential in growing Cognis’ assets from its initial sponsorship capital of $20m (provided by JP Morgan Partners) to in excess of $500m. Previously, he held senior investment positions in the special investments groups of GE Capital and RBS.
