The fund seeks to deliver a positive total return over a rolling three- to five-year period and to achieve this with a low level of volatility. There is no guarantee that the fund will achieve a positive return over this, or any other, period. The fund has the flexibility to go long or short of any investable asset class globally. Asset exposure is gained through physical holdings and the use of derivatives. The investment approach combines in-depth research to determine the medium- to long-term value of assets, with analysis of investors’ emotional reaction to events, which can give rise to investment opportunities.
