In this new role at Persado, Chahrour will lead efforts to explore, research, and develop methods to extend the capabilities of Persado's cognitive content technology. Chahrour reports to Assaf Baciu, Co-Founder and SVP of Product & Engineering.

Chahrour joins Persado from Lulu Inc. where he most recently served as the Chief Technology Officer, after co-founding it in 2011. During his time at Lulu, Chahrour led development and technology until Lulu's acquisition by Badoo in early 2016. Notably, he designed and architected a scalable API that handled 200,000 requests per minute at its peak from millions of users. Additionally, Chahrour is a technology advisor for MedShr and has experience in consumer-facing and mobile applications, social networks, e-commerce, distributed systems, and APIs.
