IT solutions provider K3 Business Technology (KBT:AIM) has made promising start to the new year, having secured two new contracts worth around £1.1 million in total. The first contract has been signed with lingerie retailer Agent Provocateur, while the second has been agreed with greeting cards retailer, Clinton Cards (CC.).
Through the contracts, K3 will install and support Microsoft’s Dynamic software suite, with the software being adapted to suit each retailer’s needs. Agent Provocateur will have a software solution comprising finance, electronic point of sale (EPOS), merchandising, planning, warehouse and business intelligence tools.
Meanwhile, Clinton Cards, which owns the Clinton and Birthday brands, will have a software solution to deal with all aspects of central merchandising, product and price management, stock ordering and sales analytical reporting for almost 1,100 stores. The software will be integrated by K3 with Clinton’s in-house developed EPOS systems and other head office systems. Shares ticked up to 163p.
Shares says: Further contracts should roll in throughout 2008.
