The company, known for its sports car competition stands in airport departure lounges, is focused on growth through securing overseas airport locations and expanding online activities. It has secured its first international site at Copenhagen’s airport. It will also have a presence at Heathrow’s Terminal 5 which opens in March.

A seven-year pan-airport contract has been signed with BAA. Previously, the company had only been able to secure three-year deals. Talks are being held with an undisclosed sports betting company seeking to run a white label version of Best of the Best’s online competitions. Instant wins prizes of between £1 and £2 continue to grow in popularity, broadening the group’s product range.

The share price increased 21% to 43.5p in two days following the results, but it is still trading at nearly half the level seen in mid 2007.

Shares says: The stock gains were off minuscule trading volumes. Needs to speed up overseas expansion to trigger a proper share rally.
