Waste management group Helesi (HLS:AIM) says revenue for 2007 will show a jump of 42% on last year at €50 million. High raw material costs to make bins have been offset by production efficiencies from upgraded plants and a better sales mix. Helesi has secured orders from new regions including Iran, Lithuania and Croatia. Around 40% of 2008 revenue is already booked. A €25 million plant opens in Q4 making pallet boxes and recycling containers in Italy. It does not believe an economic downturn will reduce investment from governments around the world in waste collection and recycling. Helesi advanced 2.5% to 122p.
Shares says: The positive trading update should trigger a recovery in its share price, which has fallen 20% since October.
