TomCo Energy (TOM:AIM) 1.88p

This tiddler has, until now, done little to put it on investors’ radar screens. It has two oil shale assets in Utah, which it sees as a long-term asset to be exploited when the commercial conditions are suitable and some very limited production in Texas. The profile of the company has recently changed as it has signed a letter of intent to acquire a 50% interest in the only onshore producing oil field in Israel. CEO Howard Crosby believes the existing production of 60 barrels a day can be ramped up quickly through workovers and infill drilling, and highlights the possibility of a step change discovery in deeper horizons.
