Hot on the heels of a multimillion pound contract with Amazon, voice and data software specialist AT Communications (ATCG:AIM) has clinched a landmark three-year deal with currency production and cash handling company De La Rue (DLAR). The global master services framework contract is expected to be worth several million pounds over the three-year period, with maintenance revenues likely to produce a similar figure.

Thanks to the deal, ATC will provide, install and service IP Telephony across De La Rue’s global business units. The deployment will take place in stages and will start with immediate effect. It will cover the UK, Switzerland, the US and Canada. ‘This is a landmark contract win with De La Rue and a quantum leap for the group as it demonstrates our ability to deliver managed solutions on a global basis, providing business transformation to our customers and enabling them to maximise the benefits of IP technology,’ says chief executive, Alex Tupman. The shares ticked up to 34p.

Shares says: Positive news and the stock continues to look cheap on a PE of 4.4.
