The investment objective of the Close Select Fixed Income Fund is to generate income while maintaining its capital value over the medium term.
Ian joined Close in June 07 as a Fixed Income Fund Manager. He has 16 years of investment experience predominantly in fixed income securities with institutions including Lloyds, Hill Samuel, Bloomberg and formerly Old Mutual Asset Management gaining experience by directing an institutional Gilt Hedge Fund portfolio. He specialises across the full spectrum of fixed income investment opportunities including conventional & alternative asset classes. Ian is a graduate of the University of Brighton
Stephen Hayde CFA. Stephen graduated from Loughborough University with a First Class Honors degree in Banking and Finance and went on to become a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. His 14 years experience in financial services, includes 10 years at Close Brothers as an analyst and fund manager, which has culminated in him running the multi-asset Close Diversified Income Portfolio Fund
Andrew joined Close Brothers in 2016 as a member of the Fixed Income team. He is co-chair of the Fixed Income committee and a key member of the Multi Asset Class (MAC) committee. He was appointed co-manager of the Close Select Fixed Income Fund on 21st September 2017. Andrew has 9 years of investment experience, all in fixed income, with institutions including Vanguard Asset Management, Moody’s and Barclays Capital. Andrew holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Durham University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Manchester University.
