To produce capital growth through investment of at least 80% of the property of the Scheme in eastern markets excluding Japan. Investment will primarily be in major markets such as Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand, but to a lesser extent this trust may invest in emerging markets such as The Philippines, Taiwan and South Korea.
Andrew Cormie assumed responsibility for the Trust during the second quarter and has more than 25 years of investment experience. He is an investment director specializing in Asian equities at Prudential Asset Management and a former director for JP Morgan Investment Management in Melbourne, Australia, where he was responsible for Australian equities and the balance business. Andrew is also a former head of the global equity team of JP Morgan Investment Management in London. He is a chartered financial analyst and holds degrees from the Securities Institute of Australia and Griffith University in Brisbane.
