The objective of the Fund is to achieve long term capital growth and income delivering average annual investment returns (total returns, net of fees) of at least RPI + 1.0% over a five to seven year investment cycle. The Fund will have a diversified portfolio. The majority of the assets will be fixed income funds, bonds issued by government and other organisations, cash, deposits and money market instruments. There is no specific limit in exposure to any sector or geographic area.
Marcus joined Cornelian Asset Managers as a Director in 2002. In addition to his client responsibilities, Marcus leads the Private Client & Charities team and reports to the Board on the management and performance of private client and charity portfolios. A graduate of Oxford University, Marcus worked previously at the SG Warburg Group and Kleinwort Benson in London before moving to Stewart Ivory in 1994. At Stewart Ivory he was responsible for UK Equity and Fixed Interest investment and managed Investment Trust, Unit Trust, Pension and Charity portfolios.
Hector leads the global, multi-asset investment team at Cornelian. He is responsible for the investment performance of all our mandates as well as managing and developing our investment processes and promoting our unconstrained, active investment philosophy. He joined Cornelian in 2010 from Scottish Value Management where he managed the successful SVM UK Alpha Fund. Prior to this, he worked at Standard Life Investments and was a key member of the Continental European equities team. Hector has an MBA in Strategic Management from Imperial College Business School.
