The fund aims to maximise total returns by investing primarily in a diversified portfolio of fixed, variable and zero rate bond investments, including convertible securities. There are no specific restrictions as to the economic sectors or geographic areas that the fund may invest in.
Tim joined Old Mutual in 2012 and is head of credit at Old Mutual Global Investors. He joined from Société Générale where he was head of European credit research. Prior to this, he was head of credit research at Aviva Investors and was responsible for the credit research team and its output. He has also worked as an analyst/strategist at Lazard Asset Management. Altogether, he has amassed over 20 years’ experience in credit research. He has a BSc honours in management sciences from the University of Warwick and holds the ASIP qualification.
