The Fund seeks to maximise long term capital growth by pursuing an adventurous investment strategy.
Craig joined Chase de Vere in 1986 as an independent financial advisor. In 1995, he founded Chartwell Investment Management and Chartwell Asset Management, and as CEO was responsible for developing and managing a fee-based advisory service, execution only service and discretionary management service. Craig was actively involved in all aspect of portfolio management, including asset allocation, fund selection, research, systems and controls. When Chartwell was sold in November 2005, Craig was retained as Investment Director and in September 2006 became responsible for the establishment, operation and marketing of the Chartwell OEIC. The Chartwell OEIC has three sub-funds, each of which is independently managed and utilises a true multi – asset approach. Craig chaired both the Investment Committee - monitoring performance of the incumbent Investment Managers against their respective investment mandate – and the Risk Committee – monitoring risks undertaken by the Investment Managers, specifically their use of derivatives and embedded derivatives.
