The investment objective of the CF Canlife Corporate Bond Fund is to maximize returns and to provide Shareholders with a half-yearly income mainly from investment in sterling-denominated fixed income securities. The Sub-fund may also invest in collective investment schemes, cash, money market instruments, other transferable securities and derivatives and forward transactions for the purposes of Efficient Portfolio Management.
Bill Harer joined Canada Life Investments in 1982. He supervises the overall risk profile for the fixed interest funds, manages the Index-linked Life and Pension Funds and is joint manager of the CF Canlife Corporate Bond Fund. Prior to joining Canada Life Investments, Bill spent five years in stock broking research. He holds an MA in Politics, Philosophy & Economics from Oxford University, and is an Associate of the CFA Society of the UK.
Michael Count joined Canada Life Investments from university in 2004 as a credit analyst and was promoted to fund manager in October 2007. Michael holds an MA in Maths and Management Studies and a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science and Economics from Cambridge University. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of the UK.
