Beowulf Mining PLC - developing Kallak iron ore mine in Sweden and Aitolampi graphite mine in Finland - Swedish government gives Beowulf the opportunity to comment on statements received by the government about the Kallak North iron ore project.

Company is given a deadline of Monday next week. Says is hopeful for a decision finally on the application for an exploitation concession that it first submitted back in 2013. The opportunity to reply comes after Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg and members of the Nordic country’s indigenous Sami community on Saturday protested against the proposed mine in northern Sweden, saying it will harm reindeer herding. Beowulf denies this, saying the two can coexist.
