Pure Gold Mining Inc - Vancouver, Canada-based gold miner - Names Terry Smith as chief operating officer, effective immediately. Smith is a mining engineer, with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He was most recently chief development officer and senior vice president of operations at Coeur Mining Inc.

‘Terry’s sharp focus on, and deep understanding of, the drivers of long-term value creation in mining and his ability to assemble and lead effective teams make him ideally suited to help shape and execute the company’s long-term vision for the PureGold mine,’ said Chief Executive Officer Troy Fierro.

Company also hires Bryan Wilson to be general manager of the PureGold mine, which is in Red Lake, Ontario. Wilson was general manager of Impala Canada’s Lac Des Iles mine from 2015 to 2021.
