Keywords Studios PLC on Monday said Chief Operating Officer Sonia Ledler has left her role and the company with immediate effect due to personal circumstances.

Ledler first joined the Dublin-based video game services provider in January 2021, coming from Ohio-based fintech company Diebold Nixdorf, which provides transaction and security products for banks and retailers, where she was global head of Managed Services & Banking Strategy for a year since 2020.

Keywords did not mention any action being taken to appoint a replacement, instead stating that it has strong leadership in place following the appointment of Bertand Bodson as CEO in December.

‘I would like to thank Sonia for her contribution to the group over the past year and to wish her well for the future. With a strong and energized leadership team in place, we are well placed to continue to execute on our clear opportunities in the buoyant video games market, as we capitalize on the group’s unique full service platform powered by our incredibly talented team of Keywordians,’ said Chair Ross Graham.

Keywords Studios will publish its annual results on Wednesday next week.

Shares in Keywords Studios were down 0.7% at 2,302.00 pence on Monday in London.
