JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust PLC - London-based investment trust - Gains on investments in the six months to January 31 falls 69% to £26.2 million from £83.8 million the previous year.

Pretax return drops 66% to £29.8 million from £88.4 million. Net assets at January 31 rises 3.5% to £471.1 million from £455 million at the same time the previous year. Net asset value per share at January 31 increases to 158.5 pence from 153.1p. Says company performed ‘poorly’ for investors in the first half.
