Lamprell PLC, up 3.7% at 28.11 pence, 12-month range 24.80p-67.90p. The Hamriyah, United Arab Emirates-based provider of oil field services says it is working with ‘international rig operator’ for key upgrade work on three jack-up drilling rigs for deployment in Gulf region. ‘The first of the rigs will arrive at Lamprell’s Hamriyah quayside this month and work will begin immediately. The second and third rigs will follow later,’ Lamprell says. Contract is defined as ‘small’, meaning value is below $50 million.

Treatt PLC, down 7.7% at 927.00 pence, 12-month range 900.00p-1,315.00p. Delivers first half performance in line with internal expectations. Sees ‘material’ revenue growth in citrus, the company’s largest business by revenue, with the second and third-largest businesses, synthetic aroma and herbs, spices & florals, also performing particularly well. In the six months to March 31, the company recorded a pretax profit of £6.3 million, down 39% from £10.4 million a year before. Operating costs increases to £11.7 million from £10.7 million, attributed to higher payroll costs. Also notes £2.6 million one-off costs related to relocation of UK facilities. Meanwhile, revenue grew 9.0% to £66.3 million from £60.8 million. Declares an interim dividend of 2.50 pence per share, reflecting a 25% increase compared to 2.00p a year before. Guides for financial 2022 revenue to grow more than 15%.
