EnQuest PLC, up 5.0% at 37.10 pence, 12-month range 16.40p-37.35p. The company reaffirmed its annual production guidance, as efficiency across its portfolio in the year so far increases average production rates. In the first four months of the year, the North Sea and Malaysia-focused oil and gas company’s production is in line with its full-year targets. On a net working interest basis, average daily production from its UK assets was 44,451 barrels of oil equivalent, an increase of 7.0% year-on-year from 41,527.

Argo Blockchain PLC, up 2.5% at 50.44 pence, 12-month range 42.00p-175.00p. The bitcoin miner’s shares rise as calm descends on cryptocurrency markets, which have been volatile in recent days. Shares in Argo had fallen 11% on Friday. The price of bitcoin has risen 1.8% over the past 24 hours to $30,437. It is down 23% over the past month, however.

Dignity PLC, down 2.6% at 463.00p, 12-month range 412.50p-969.00p. The stock resumes its slide after some respite on Friday, when it climbed 3.4%. However, prior to Friday, shares in the funeral services provider declined for four successive sessions. Sentiment towards the stock has weakened after it posted a decrease in first quarter profit and revenue earlier in May, due to UK deaths dropping below their five-year average.
