Go-Ahead Group PLC, up 16% at 1,408.00 pence, 12-month range 450.6p-1,490p. The public transport operator says it has received two takeover proposals at terms it ‘would be minded to recommend’ should a firm offer materialise. The Newcastle, England-based firm receives a takeover proposal from Sydney-listed transport Kelsian Group Ltd and another from a consortium consisting of Kinetic Holding Co Pty Ltd and Globalvia Inversiones SAU. Kinetic is a bus operator in Australia and New Zealand, while Globalvia is a Madrid-based transport infrastructure firm.
Both approaches were unsolicited.

Argo Blockchain PLC, down 16% at 37.85p, 12-month range 35p-175p. The cryptocurrency miner falls as bitcoin tumbles to an 18-month low under $25,000 on Monday. The world’s most popular cryptocurrency dives around 10% to hit $24,692 in morning London deals, striking a level last seen in December 2020. The virtual unit has collapsed 65% in value since striking a record peak in November 2021.

ProCook Group PLC, down 13% at 40.41p, 12-month range 40p-165p. The kitchenware retailer extends Friday’s 40% drop, when it said trading had been hurt by increasingly challenging market conditions, with customers affected by ‘exceptional pressures’ on discretionary spending.
