Best of the Best PLC, up 24% at 487.00 pence, 12-month range 350.00p-2,621.74p. The operator of weekly online raffle competitions exceeds pandemic figures for profit and revenue and announces a £6.3 million tender offer. Reports pretax profit of £5.1 million in the year ended April 30, down sharply from £14.1 million the previous year but up 22% against the £4.2 million the year before that.

Tintra PLC, up 17% at 102.22p, 12-month range 33p-375p. Files UK patent application to protect intellectual property that it has created as part of its rapid research and development programme. Tertiary Minerals PLC, up 11% at 0.1715p, 12-month range 0.15p-0.38p. The mineral exploration and development company completes first drill programme at Jacks copper project in Zambia. 186 drill-core samples have been submitted for laboratory analysis with results expected within a few weeks. Jacks lies within exploration licence 27069-HQ-LEL, held by local partner Mwashia Resources Ltd. Tertiary has an exclusive option to earn up to a 90% joint venture interest in the licence.

boohoo Group PLC, down 18% at 53.28p, 12-month range 52.6p-335.3p. The fast fashion firm warns on inflation and high clothing return rates, though leaves annual guidance unchanged. In the three months to May 31, its first quarter, group revenue declines 8.3% to £445.7 million from £486.1 million a year earlier. Gross margin in the period 52.8%, down 220 basis points on a year before, but firm notes this ’improved through the quarter‘.

GB Group PLC, down 9.7% at 442.00p, 12-month range 440.92p-984p. The identity data intelligence firm says revenue for the financial year to March 31 rises 11% to £242.5 million, but pretax profit falls 37% to £21.7 million. Says it is excited by growth opportunities, though notes it will have to continue managing the business through rising inflation and interest rates in year ahead. In addition, appoints Richard Longdon as chair with effect from September 1, replacing David Rasche who is retiring after 12 years with the firm. Longdon was formerly chief executive of Aveva Group PLC.
