London equities are seen opening cautiously as investors return to the coalface after a bank-holiday weekend. The upcoming week is busy on the economic data front.

On Wall St overnight on Monday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.58% to 18,502.99, the S&P 500 firmed 0.52% to 2180.38 and the Nasdaq Composite gained 26% to 5232.33.
In Asia this morning, the Nikkei 225 had fallen 0.02% to 16,734.4, while the Hang Seng firmed 83% to 23,010.22.
At 6.27am, WTI crude was up 0.43% to $47.18/bbl and Brent was up 0.24% to $49.38. Gold was down 0.03% to $1326.7/oz.
Interim results are due from Alpha Bank, Acron, Bunzl, BATM Advanced Communications, Globaltrans Investment, Inspired Energy, Nord Gold, Petrofac and Total Produce.
Shareholder meetings are scheduled for MediLink-Global UK and Puma VCT9.
