London equities are opening to a session slip on the corporate and economic news front, following on from heavy falls on Wall St as crude prices decline and traders anticipate a US rate hike.

On Wall St overnight on Friday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 2.13% to 18,085.45, the S&P 500 lost 2.45% to 2127.81 and the Nasdaq Composite shed 2.54% to 5125.91.
In Asia this morning, the Nikkei 225 had lost 1.94% to 16,636.87, while the Hang Seng firmed 2.7% to 23,449.99.
At 5.59am, WTI crude was down 1.57% to $45.16/bbl and Brent was down 1.4% to $47.34/bbl. Gold was down 0.16% to 1332.3/oz.
Interim results are due from Brady, Central Asia Metals, EKF Diagnostics, John Laing Infrastructure Fund, MP Evans and Mytrah Energy.
Final results are scheduled from Abcam and Green Reit. Shareholder meetings are due from Subex.
