London equities are seen to be opening cautiously lower as Wall Street was lower and Asia markets were mixed.
US & ASIA
In the US last night, the Dow lost 0.2% to close at 18,034, the broader-based S&P 500 was flat at 2,125, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite pushed 0.3% higher to 5,173.
In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently down 1.2% at 16,412 and the Hang Seng gained 0.4% at 23,280.
In commodities, WTI crude oil recently traded at $43.72 a barrel, Brent at $46.12 and gold was $1,321 an ounce.
Many stocks are set to go ex-dividend, although only a few of these are blue chip companies, including Worldpay and Standard Chartered.
Interim results are due from Premier Farnell and Be Heard.
Ashley House, Purplebricks and Terra Catalyst Fund are set to host shareholder meetings.
