London equities stocks are set to open after a softer session on Wall St overnight Friday and gains on Asia this morning, with little about in the way of scheduled corporate news.

On Wall St overnight, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.49% to 18,123.8, the S&P 500 lost 0.38% to 2139.16 and the Nasdaq Composite gained 0.1% to 5244.57.
In Asia this morning, the Nikkei 225 had risen 0.7% to 16,519.29, while the Hang Seng firmed 0.96% to 23,559.57.
At 6.08am, WTI crude was up 1.79% to $43.80/bbl, and Brent was ahead 1.64% to $46.52. Gold was up 0.66% to $1318.8/oz.
Interim results are due from Gama Aviation, Maintel, SimiGon and Spectra Systems. Final results are due from Finsbury Food and Petra Diamonds.
