London stocks are due to open in the aftermath of gains in Asia overnight, and following on from Wall St's rise on Friday night. Shortly after 6am, sterling is up against both the dollar and euro.

On Wall St overnight, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.01% to 21,394.76, the S&P 500 rose 0.16% to 2438.3 and the Nasdaq Composite added 0.46% to 6265.25.
In Asia this morning, the Nikkei 225 had improved 0.1% to 20,152.38, while the Hang Seng rose 0.38% to 15,768.13.
At 6.01am, WTI crude was up 1.21% to $43.53/bbl and Brent was up 1.27% to $46.12/bbl. Gold was down 0.12% to $1254.90/oz, with silver and copper broadly flat.
Shareholder meetings are to be held by BH Global, Edenville Energy, Exillon Energy, Flowgroup, Galantas Gold, Hydro International and W Resources.
