Samsung Electronics has finalised the details of the sale of its Printing Solutions business to HP. Samsung is spinning off the business and selling 100% of the newly established firm's registered common stock to HP for $1.05 billion. It has agreed to enter into licensing agreements that would allow the business, tentatively named S-Printing Solution, to sell printing related products and services under the Samsung brand name in South Korea. For its overseas business, Samsung Electronics will be selling its 100% ownership stake in Samsung Electronics (Shandong) Digital Printing, PrinterOn, Simpress Comercio, Locacao e Servicos, as well as business related assets owned by overseas affiliate companies.
