Russia-focused Volga Gas said average production in October rose by 1% compared to September.

Output in October rose to an average of 3,432 barrels of oil equivalent per day, lower than the average between January and October of 4,914 boepd.

Over the coming months, the implementation of a new gas-sweetening process is expected to result in gradual increases in production, Volga said.

"During this period it is expected that the average daily production of gas and condensate would be in the region of 3,600 boepd resulting in group production of approximately 4,300 boepd," it said.

The guidance excludes additional potential production from the Uzen well #101 and incremental volumes from an LPG project on which construction is close to completion and commissioning is expected during December.
