Tlou Energy has provided an update on the progress of a 2D seismic program and commencement of core-hole drilling at its Lesedi coal bed methane project in Botswana. The seismic survey was progressing "very well" and an analysis of the data to date has provided sufficient information for the commencement of core-hole drilling, the company said. "The information from the seismic program along with the core-hole data will be key to the expansion of the company's existing gas reserves and contingent resources," managing director Tony Gilby said. The company hopes to commence development activities next year, Gilby said.
