Ultra Electronics said a decision from anti-trust regulators regarding its proposed acquisition of Sparton was expected by the end of March.

The company has entered into a timing agreement with the US Department of Justice that sets time targets for Ultra's further document submission, and time limits for the department's decision-making.

Ultra said it's targeting the submission of all requested documentation by November 30.

"Assuming that Ultra and DoJ meet their respective dates, a decision from the DoJ is now expected at the end of March 2018," the company said.
