Trans-Siberian Gold said its Asacha gold mine grew output to a quarterly record, helping the company to beat its full-year production guidance.
Gold output in the fourth quarter rose 33.3% to 12,244 ounces, while the grade rose 16.2% to 8.6 grams per tonne.
Total gold production for the year slightly exceeded production guidance, at 36,714oz, the company said. Total output was broadly flat compared to the prior year.
"We are continuing to work hard at the Asacha gold mine to efficiently mine this high grade ore body," chief executive Dmitry Khilov said.
"We look forward into 2018 with confidence to continue to deliver stable gold production at low cost levels".
