James Cropper said it expected pre-tax profit for the full year to be in the region of £5.7m following a higher-than-expected rise in pulp prices.

James Cropper Paper's underlying performance year-on-year, excluding the effect of rising pulp prices, remained healthy, with operating margins increasing in line with board expectations, the company said.
