Landshypotek Bank's underlying operating profit rose to SKr387m in 2017 - SKr60m up on the previous year.
The bank said it was growing both in terms of deposits and lending and in the autumn had made a successful entrance into the mortgage market.
The volume of loans outstanding increased by SKr2bn to SKr68.5bn and deposits also rose and totalled SKr12.7bn at year end - up from SKr11.7bn.
Acting chief executive Catharina Abjornsson Lindgren said:'Our underlying earnings posted a historic high.
'Above all else, we have had a great autumn with a successful market launch of our mortgage loans and a substantial increase in our visibility.
'This means we have been able to welcome numerous new customers - both for farming and forestry and for mortgages - to our bank.'
