Asiamet Resources drilling intersects more copper in Indonesia

Asiamet Resources said ongoing drilling at the BKZ Polymetallic prospect in Indonesia continued to intersect high-grade copper mineralisation.
Mineralisation was confirmed over a strike length of at least 125m and was up to 60m in width. Thickness was variably 30m to 60m.
Independent consulting geologists Hackman & Associates have been engaged to complete a maiden Resource estimate for the BKZ deposit, which is expected in May 2018.
'Drilling continues to enhance our understanding of the dimensions of the two mineralised domains at BKZ, the footprint of which remains open in most directions,' chief executive Peter Bird said.
'The continuity of recently identified structurally controlled high-grade copper-silver mineralisation potentially linking the BKZ and BKM deposits is particularly promising, as are the associated geophysical targets identified at depth below the near surface deposits.'
'The delineation drilling programme at BKZ is near completion, with only six holes remaining.'
