The FTSE 100 is expected to fall by around 15 points, according to financial spread betting firms, as trade war concerns between the US and China rose over the weekend. In addition, negative sentiment seen in Asia this morning is likely to add further pressure when European markets start trading. OVERSEAS MARKETS In the US on Friday, the Dow ended 424.69 points lower at 23,533.2, the S&P 500 fell 55.43 points to close at 2,588.26 and the Nasdaq was down 174.01 points at 6,992.67. In Asia this morning, the Nikkei 225 fell 0.56%, or 114.43 points, to 20,503.43 heading into the close. The Hang Seng was down 761.76 points at 30,309.29 and the Shanghai Composite was 51.85 points lower at 3,100.91. COMMODITIES WTI crude was 0.46% lower at $65.58 per barrel and Brent was down 0.23% at $70.29 per barrel. Gold was slightly lower at $1,354 per ounce, silver flat and copper was down 1.04%.
