House builder Abbey said it was in a good position to grow output this year amid 'steady' trading over the summer.
'In Southern England our sales have held up well, underpinned by the UK government's consistent support for first time buyers,' chairman Charles Gallagher said in speech notes for the company's AGM.
In Ireland, Gallagher said a recent sales launch in Dunshaughlin, Meath had been well received.
Construction on a new Navan project was progressing quickly, a second phase was underway in Cornelscourt and further projects in Meath and Laois would commence shortly, he said.
