Surveillance technology group Synectics said it had secured a new multi-million dollar contract in the gambling sector. The contract would involve the company providing its software platform to replace the surveillance system in a large, established property in Macau. The initial phase of the project was expected to be delivered in the current financial year, with potential for significant further revenue in the future. 'Having won a series of new-build casino projects in Asia over the last few years, we are delighted that such a major, long established operator in the region has chosen to replace its existing system with the market-proven Synectics solution,' chief executive Paul Webb said.
