Global Petroleum said it had won further legal cases regarding its activities in Italy. The company said the Administrative Tribunal in Rome had recently rejected appeals made by a further four parties against environmental decrees for its applications in the Southern Adriatic. 'The latest rejection by the Tribunal of the vast majority of outstanding appeals vindicates our consistently held view that such appeals were entirely without merit,' chief executive Peter Hill said. 'In the wider context, we observe with interest the developing opposition to the moratorium on exploration activity in Italy.' At 2:20pm: (LON:GBP) Global Petroleum Ltd share price was +0.23p at 1.6p
