Arc Minerals said it was 'likely' to prioritise West Lunga as one of its drill targets after technical consultants had identified the 'large' new target at Zamsortthe target in Zambia.

The West Lunga target, located in the western part of the Zamsort & Zaco licences, had demonstrated anomalous copper over a 6km strike, with peak values of 463ppm of copper, the company said.

Followig the discovery, the company said it would have review its drill targets, but added thagt it was 'likely' to prioritse West Lunga.

'This is very encouraging news - especially having been identified by the discovery team of Kamoa, one of the largest high-grade copper discoveries of recent times. This development means we are going to review the ranking of our 14 priority drill targets and it is likely that we will prioritise West Lunga as one of our highest priority targets,' said Nick von Schirnding, Executive Chairman of Arc.
