Professional services company investor Law Debenture Corporation upped its interim dividend by 10% after posting a positive first-half performance. The company declared a dividend for the six months through June of 6.6p per share, up from 6.0p on-year. Its total net asset value return for the period was 10.3%, lower than a 13.0% return on the FTSE Actuaries All-Share Index over the same time period. 'Your company has had a good start to 2019,' chairman Robert Hingley said. 'Our investment trust's long term performance remains ahead of its benchmark on a three, five and ten year basis.' 'Our IPS business has built on the success of 2018, delivering on our commitment to shareholders of mid to high single digit growth.'
