Specialist engineering group Pressure Technologies said subsidiary Chesterfield Special Cylinders had secured a contract worth more than £3m to supply nitrogen storage solutions to EDF Energy. The storage capabilities would be supplied to EDF's UK nuclear power plants at Heysham, Torness and Hartlepool, by mid-2020. 'This contract represents the largest order in Chesterfield Special Cylinders' history outside of the defence sector and is extremely important for the Chesterfield team and for the Pressure Technologies group,' chief executive Chris Walters said.
