Hummingbird Resources reported an uptick in production in the third quarter of the year shrugging off adverse weather, which had weighed on output a year earlier. For the quarter ended 30 September 2019, production increased to 30,484 ounces from 27,466 ounces in the second quarter at an all in sustaining cost of US$849 an ounce, down from $998 an ounce. The company sold 30,373 ounces of gold at an average price of US$1,422 an ounce. 'Q3 2019 is the wettest quarter of the year and we are particularly pleased with how the team has managed this period during the quarter, especially when compared to the corresponding period last year. We anticipate Q4 to be another good quarter and we are maintaining our production guidance of 110-125,000 ozs of gold production for 2019,' the company said.
