Condor Gold said its subsidiary in Nicaragua had sold the rights to the Potrerillos assets to Nicoz Resources for US$600K. The Potrerillos concession - comprised 12 square kilometres of sub surface mineral rights and was located in Nuevo Segovia in the north of Nicaragua - was explored by Condor between 2007 and 2009, the company said. The net sale proceeds would be used for working capital purposes on La India project, it added. The company's on-going focus remained on the La India project, which contained a mineral resource of 9.85m tonnnes at 3.6 grams per tonne of gold for 1.14m ounces of gold in the indicated category and 8.479m tonnes at 4.3 grams per tonne for 1.179m ounces of gold in the inferred category.
