Director appointment
Digitalbox plc (AIM: DBOX), the mobile-first digital media business, which owns Entertainment Daily, The Daily Mash and The Tab, announces that Mr Matthew Armitage has been appointed as a temporary Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. Mr Armitage brings a wealth of experience to the board: his work as both CFO and more recently CEO of St Ives PLC (now Kin and Carta plc) equips him well to perform roles including the Chair of our audit committee for the upcoming 2020 full year results audit cycle.
Commenting on the appointment of Mr Armitage, James Carter, CEO, said: "We are pleased to add Matt's experience to the board as we focus on continuing our growth. His knowledge of financial operating models in the public market will be a huge asset to our continuing operations".
The following details in relation to the appointment of Mr Matthew Robert Armitage, aged 52, are disclosed in accordance with Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules:

While a director of Kin and Carta plc, a number its group companies of which Mr Armitage was a director were sold. Of these, Global MP Ltd, SGL Realisations and SP Group Ltd were subsequently placed into administration within 12 months of Mr Armitage ceasing to be as a director.
There are no other disclosures required pursuant to Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules.
