Audioboom announces global ad sales partnerships to increase podcast monetisation
The Board of Audioboom (AIM: BOOM), the leading global podcast company, is pleased to announce the signing of new advertising sales partnerships with MAPP Media in the UK and Ideabrew Studios in India, plus the expansion of the Company's commercial partnership with the Australian Radio Network in Australia. These strategic partnerships will increase revenue opportunities for the Company in key global markets.
MAPP Media
Audioboom will partner with MAPP Media to expand podcast monetisation in the UK. MAPP will provide dynamic ad insertion sales across Audioboom's portfolio of more than 8,000 podcasts, which are downloaded more than 12 million times in the UK each month.
MAPP Media's sales platform will deliver revenue through a second window sales model, while Audioboom's in-house team will continue to focus on the premium model of high engagement, embedded, host reads. The combined strategy will optimise advertising revenue and create maximum value for Audioboom's original podcasts and production partners.
The partnership with MAPP Media will enable Audioboom to further expand its roster of UK-based podcasts by providing more robust revenue opportunities to independent producers and key talent.
Australian Radio Network (ARN)
Audioboom and the Australian Radio Network have expanded and extended their strategic partnership, with ARN providing exclusive advertising sales across Audioboom's Australian inventory.
The new deal extends the partnership until 2023 and expands the scope of ARN's role enabling the monetisation of both premium and programmatic inventory through Australia-based agencies and brands.
Audioboom is the leading international podcast publisher on Triton Digital's Australian podcast ranker. The Company's podcasts are downloaded more than five million times each month in the country. Audioboom also publishes 'Casefile True Crime', the most downloaded podcast in Australia.
Ideabrew Studios
Audioboom also announces a new sales partnership with Ideabrew Studios to monetise the Company's downloads in India and the Middle East.
Ideabrew Studios will provide advertising sales representation in a region where Audioboom's podcasts are downloaded more than four million times each month. India is Audioboom's 5th largest market for podcast consumption.
