2020 Annual Report and Financial Statements ('the Annual Report') and
Notice of Annual General Meeting
The Group announced its audited preliminary results on 23 March 2021 in accordance with the financial reporting obligations of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
The Annual Report, Notice of Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held on 20 May 2021 ("AGM Notice") and information relating to the voting rights of shareholders (as required by section 311A of the Companies Act 2006) is available to view today on the Company's website, www.henryboot.co.uk
However, in view of the UK Government's restrictions on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, shareholders and their proxies are kindly requested not to attend the Annual General Meeting in person, as the number of permitted attendees is likely to be restricted. Details of how shareholders can access the Board's Company update, usually delivered at the AGM, will be detailed on the Company's website in due course. The Board encourages shareholders to monitor the Company's website (www.henryboot.co.uk/investors) and regulatory news services for any updates in relation to the Annual General Meeting that may need to be provided. In the meantime, the Board encourages shareholders to submit their proxy form as early as possible by post or electronically as detailed in the notes to the Notice of Annual General Meeting and the Form of Proxy.
A factsheet providing a brief overview of the Company has also been made available today on the website and can be found within the 'About Us' section.
The related Form of Proxy, hard copies of the Annual Report and the AGM Notice will be mailed today to those shareholders on the register who have elected to continue to receive paper copies of shareholder communications. In addition, these documents will be submitted to the National Storage Mechanism (NSM) and will be available for inspection at https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism shortly after mailing.
