JUNE 2021 TRAFFIC AND CO2 EMISSION STATISTICS
WIZZ AIR CARRIED 1,557,000 PASSENGERS

Geneva, 2 July 2021: Wizz Air Holdings Plc ("Wizz Air"), the fastest-growing European airline, today announces passenger and CO2 emission statistics for June 2021.
In June 2021, Wizz Air carried 1,557,000 passengers at a load factor of 64%. Wizz Air continued to grow its network and improve its customer offering as follows:
· Wizz Air announced opening of its sixth Italian base in Naples, offering 18 new international and domestic routes. The airline will base two Airbus A321 aircraft at Naples airport in August and September 2021. The 18 new services will add to eight existing routes currently operated from Naples airport;
· Wizz Air will allocate an additional A321 aircraft to its Tirana base in Albania, adding two new routes to Barcelona, Spain and Cologne, Germany from July 2021;
· Wizz Air continuously operates amongst the lowest CO2 emissions per passenger/km amongst all competitor airlines, with 74.9 grams per passenger/km for the rolling 12 months to 30 June 2021. For the month of June, emissions in grams per passenger/km were 19.0% lower compared to same month last year, as we witness an improvement in load factors over same time.
