Director/PDMR Dealings
Mercia Asset Management PLC (AIM: MERC), the proactive, regionally focused specialist asset manager with c.£940million of assets under management, announces that it has received notifications of the following transactions relating to Ordinary shares of £0.00001 each in the capital of Mercia ("Ordinary Shares") by Directors and PDMRs of the Company as follows:
· Ian Metcalfe, Non-Executive Chair of the Company, became beneficially interested in a further 50,000 Ordinary Shares. The shares were bought at 39.40p per share.
· Mark Payton, Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, became beneficially interested in a further 157,445 Ordinary Shares. These shares were bought yesterday at 38.49p, 38.42p and 37.89p per share.
· Martin Glanfield, Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, became beneficially interested in a further 383,112 Ordinary Shares. 128,299 shares were bought yesterday at 39.75p per share. 129,029 shares were bought on his behalf yesterday at 38.75p per share by his SIPP. 125,784 shares were bought yesterday by his spouse at 39.75p per share.
· Julian Viggars, Director and Chief Investment Officer of the Company, became beneficially interested in a further 160,000 Ordinary Shares. 135,436 shares were bought yesterday at 38.00p, 37.70p and 38.90p per share. 15,500 shares were bought on his behalf yesterday at 38.00p per share by his SIPP. 9,064 shares were bought yesterday by his spouse at 38.80p per share.
· Peter Dines, PDMR and Chief Operating Officer of the Company, became beneficially interested in a further 130,890 Ordinary Shares. These shares were bought yesterday at 39.00 per share.
The personal share purchases by Messrs Payton, Glanfield, Viggars and Dines are the re-investment of approximately half of their 2020/21 net bonuses and the shares will be held for a minimum period of one year.
Following the above transactions, Messrs Metcalfe, Glanfield, Viggars and Dines are beneficially interested in the following number of Ordinary Shares:
