Notice of 2021 AGM

EQTEC plc (AIM: EQT), a world-leading gasification solutions company that is building the future of a cleaner waste-to-energy industry, announces that the Annual General Meeting of the Company will be held at the registered office of the Company at Building 1000, Citygate, Mahon, Cork, Ireland on Tuesday 17 August 2021 at 10.00 a.m. and by videoconference (the "AGM").

The Notice of AGM and associated Form of Proxy are today being sent to shareholders and will be available shortly on the Company's website at www.eqtec.com.

Further to the stay-at-home measures that affected the Company's 2020 AGM, the current expectation is that restrictions on public gatherings will remain in place on the date of the 2021 AGM and the Board has taken the decision to ask shareholders not to attend the meeting in person this year.

The Board therefore encourages all shareholders to vote by proxy by appointing the chairman of the meeting as their proxy to vote on their behalf. Further details on how shareholders holding shares in certificated and uncertificated form can vote at the 2021 AGM are set out in the Notice of AGM.

Recognising the importance of the AGM as an opportunity to engage with its shareholders, the Company will be enabling all shareholders to attend and participate in the meeting electronically, should they wish to do so. Information on how shareholders can access the meeting is contained in the Notice of AGM.
